A hand-knitted garment asks very little: a cool hand-wash with wool soap, a gentle press in a towel, and a flat dry away from sunlight. Never hang wet knitwear u2014 gravity is its only real enemy.
Before summer, wash once more, fold with lavender, and store in a breathable cotton bag. Your knits will come out of storage as soft as they went in.
